Quatro músicos de outra galáxia, que formam o grupo “Crescendolls”, são raptados por um agente inescrupuloso. O raptor quer fazer deles o maior grupo musical da Terra e, para isso, os conduz por uma longa viagem cósmica.
O filme é a realização visual de “Discovery”, um álbum do Daft Punk. Cada clipe do álbum foi animado como um episódio da história de seqüestro e resgate de uma banda de pop interestelar.
